Chaoju Eye Care reports 60,000-share on-market repurchase; outstanding buybacks rise to 862,000 shares

Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited disclosed in a Next Day Disclosure Return (dated 4 June 2026) that it bought back 60,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 4 June 2026.

• Transaction details: Shares were repurchased on-market at prices between HKD 2.56 and HKD 2.61, for a total consideration of HKD 0.15 million. The shares are intended for cancellation.

• Cumulative repurchases not yet cancelled: Including this latest transaction, the company now holds 862,000 shares pending cancellation, equivalent to approximately 0.12 % of the 705.18 million issued shares.

• Share capital position: Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) stood unchanged at 705.18 million before and after the reporting date, as the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. No treasury shares were held.

• Mandate utilisation: The current shareholder mandate, approved on 12 May 2026, authorises buybacks of up to 70.52 million shares. Since the mandate’s approval, 480,000 shares (0.07 % of issued capital at mandate date) have been repurchased on-market.

• Moratorium: Under Hong Kong listing rules, Chaoju Eye Care is restricted from issuing new shares for 30 days following the latest repurchase; the moratorium runs through 4 July 2026.

All board authorisations, regulatory filings and funding settlements related to the repurchase have been confirmed as completed in accordance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements.
