On September 28, China Citic Bank Corporation Limited announced that its board of directors has approved the "Proposal on Appointing Mr. Jin Xinian as Chief Risk Officer of China Citic Bank Corporation Limited." According to his resume, Jin Xinian, male, born in March 1971, has served as Vice President of China Citic Bank Corporation Limited since August 2025, and as a member of the bank's Party Committee since April 2025. Since November 2024, he has served as General Manager of the Head Office's Credit Execution Department. From March 2017 to November 2024, Jin Xinian held various positions at China Citic Bank Corporation Limited, including General Manager of the Investment Banking Department, General Manager of the Corporate Banking Department, and Party Secretary, Acting President, and President of the Guangzhou Branch. From July 1993 to March 2017, he worked at Agricultural Bank of China, serving in roles including Party Committee Member, Assistant to President, and Vice President of Shanxi Provincial Branch, as well as Deputy General Manager of the Head Office's Major Client Department (deputy provincial level) and Deputy General Manager of the Major Client Department and Business Department (deputy provincial level). Jin Xinian has 32 years of experience in China's banking industry. He graduated from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics with a Master's degree in Business Administration for Senior Executives and holds the title of Senior Economist.
