On September 14, the Administrative Examination and Government Information Bureau of Fugou County organized a centralized promotional event for the 2026 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week. The initiative aimed to spread cybersecurity knowledge, strengthen public awareness of online protection, and foster a safer, healthier, and more civilized digital environment.

At the event site, staff engaged citizens by displaying informational boards, hanging banners, setting up consultation booths, and distributing educational materials while answering questions on cybersecurity laws and regulations. Local officials paused at the exhibition stands to review the displayed content and materials, listening to staff briefings on both cybersecurity outreach and government service convenience measures. They also made inquiries into the public's key concerns, including the availability of online service channels at the government hall, the operation of the "unresolved matters" feedback window, the processing of high-frequency tasks through digital platforms, and the implementation of senior-friendly adaptations for elderly citizens in government services.

Expanding its efforts beyond the central event, the Bureau leveraged the government service hall as a primary hub to maximize outreach. It posted themed posters in prominent locations, used electronic screens to cycle through security slogans, arranged for all employees to watch cybersecurity warning videos, and conducted in-depth learning sessions on related topics. These activities were designed to ensure staff members become proficient in cybersecurity and anti-fraud knowledge, enabling them to not only safeguard the network integrity of government services but also proactively educate citizens who visit the hall, thereby weaving cybersecurity awareness into every aspect of administrative support.

By the end of the day, the campaign had resulted in the display of over 100 posters, the distribution of more than 500 informational packets, and direct consultations with upwards of 200 visitors. Looking forward, the Bureau plans to continue a series of educational initiatives to significantly improve the public's cybersecurity literacy, reinforcing a strong protective barrier for the county's high-quality economic and social development.
