According to data from energy research firm Kpler, crude oil production in the Gulf region fell by 39% in March due to Iran's effective blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which forced countries to cut output. All Gulf nations were compelled to reduce production, with Iraq, Kuwait, and Bahrain experiencing the largest declines, as these three countries are highly dependent on the Strait of Hormuz.
