SH ELECTRIC (02727) surged over 5%, rising 5.64% to HK$4.31 as of press time, with trading volume reaching HK$171 million.

On the news front, the BEST (Compact Fusion Energy Experimental Device) project located in Hefei, Anhui Province achieved a critical breakthrough in construction. The Dewar base, a key component of the BEST device's main unit, was successfully developed and delivered, completing precise positioning and installation in the BEST device's main hall. This milestone marks the project's main construction entering a new phase.

According to reports, this device will be the first internationally to demonstrate nuclear fusion power generation, with expectations to light the first lamp through nuclear fusion by 2030.

Everbright Securities previously highlighted key focus areas including the company's breakthrough progress in emerging industries such as robotics and nuclear fusion. In the robotics sector, the company implements a dual-wheel drive strategy of "independent R&D + ecological cooperation," leveraging its participation in the National-Local Joint Innovation Center for Humanoid Robots to promote commercial applications. The company has already conducted humanoid robot application testing in nuclear power industrial scenarios.

In the nuclear fusion field, the company successfully delivered the world's first ITER project magnet cold test Dewar and will subsequently deliver core components for multiple main systems including the national major scientific and technological infrastructure CRAFT project and the compact fusion experimental device BEST project.
