On March 4, it was learned from Quzhou Customs that Zhejiang Xiawang Paper Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiawang Paper") has successfully passed the AEO certification. With this addition, the number of AEO-certified enterprises in the city has reached 13.

AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) is a system advocated by the World Customs Organization (WCO). Obtaining AEO certification signifies that a company's supply chain security, compliance standards, and trade safety are recognized by domestic and international customs authorities. It serves as a "green pass" for international trade, granting the company streamlined customs clearance and preferential treatment.

Xiawang Paper is a global leader in the high-end decorative base paper industry, with its products exported to Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and other regions. "Securing AEO certification is like obtaining a VIP card for the international market," said Wang Jin, General Manager of Xiawang Paper. "The company will further enhance product quality and international service capabilities, steadily expanding the scale of its foreign trade market."

Since the first enterprise in the city obtained AEO certification in 2011, the number of certified companies has continued to grow, playing an increasingly prominent role in the development of Quzhou's open economy. In 2025, AEO enterprises in Quzhou achieved a total import and export value of 24.02 billion yuan, accounting for nearly 30% of the city's total import and export value, serving as a stabilizing force for the foreign trade sector.

A representative from Quzhou Customs stated that efforts will be made to further expand the coverage of AEO enterprise cultivation, assist more high-quality foreign trade companies in improving their import and export compliance management, and effectively implement facilitation measures for advanced certified enterprises, thereby better supporting the high-quality development of Quzhou's open economy.
