In late July, the distributed photovoltaic projects at Anqing Wanhe New Port and the Anqing Water Supply Repair Center successfully achieved full-capacity grid connection, injecting clean energy momentum into the city's green port transformation and water facility energy efficiency upgrades.

The total installed capacity of the grid-connected solar projects is 2,499.375 kilowatts peak. Among them, the Anqing Wanhe New Port has an installed capacity of 2,154.945 kilowatts peak, while the Anqing Water Supply Repair Center has an installed capacity of 344.43 kilowatts peak.

According to estimates, after the projects are put into operation, the annual power generation can reach over 2.49 million kilowatt-hours, saving 306 tons of standard coal each year and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2,483 tons. This demonstrates significant energy-saving, emission-reduction, and economic benefits.

The projects adopt an operational model of "self-consumption of generated power, with surplus electricity fed into the grid." The generated clean electricity is prioritized to meet the production and operation needs of the port and the daily office and equipment power demands of the Anqing Water Supply Repair Center, with excess electricity connected to the public grid. Simultaneously, the projects are closely integrated with the port's marine charging pile planning, achieving a deep fusion of green energy and port supporting facilities.

The successful grid connection of these solar projects has officially commenced the construction of the "Zero-Carbon Terminal" at Wanhe New Port. Looking ahead, Wanhe New Port will progressively advance the configuration of energy storage equipment, the construction of new energy charging facilities, and the upgrade of traditional equipment. Relying on an integrated source-grid-load-storage virtual power plant and a digital twin platform, it will achieve unified scheduling and real-time monitoring of energy consumption and carbon emissions across the entire port area, aiming to build a green, low-carbon, and smart port to support high-quality regional economic development.
