Raffles Education trims debt and lifts profit in 9M2026 results

Raffles Education Limited (NR7) announced its financial results for the nine months ended Mar, 31 2026, reporting revenue of 81.14 million Singapore dollars, down 5 % year on year, and adjusted EBITDA of 22.71 million Singapore dollars, also 5 % lower.

Net profit after tax rose sharply to 24.18 million Singapore dollars from 6.47 million Singapore dollars a year earlier, supported by lower finance costs and cost-optimisation measures. Net cash generated from operating activities increased to 16.25 million Singapore dollars.

Total borrowings were cut to 84.99 million Singapore dollars at Mar, 31 2026 from 206.78 million Singapore dollars a year earlier. The company’s standalone bank borrowings were reduced to zero, while cash and bank balances climbed to 46.18 million Singapore dollars from 16.86 million Singapore dollars at Jun, 30 2025.

Net assets stood at 713.17 million Singapore dollars, underpinned by substantial freehold property assets, giving a net asset value of 35.13 Singapore cents per share.

Raffles Education said it will focus on expanding its premium K–12 education segment across ASEAN, including plans for a new campus in Jakarta in the second half of 2026, while maintaining disciplined cost management to support margin expansion.
