China Boton repurchases 40,000 shares for HKD 50,800; treasury stock rises to 122,000 shares

05/28

China Boton Group Company Limited disclosed that it repurchased 40,000 ordinary shares on 28 May 2026 via on-market transactions at prices between HKD 1.26 and HKD 1.28 per share, for a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 1.27. The total consideration amounted to HKD 50,800.

Following the repurchase, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell marginally by 0.0037% to 1.08 billion shares, while treasury shares increased from 82,000 to 122,000. The total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 1.08 billion, indicating the bought-back shares have been held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The transaction forms part of the buy-back mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which authorises China Boton to repurchase up to 108.05 million shares. To date, 40,000 shares—equivalent to 0.0037% of the authorised limit—have been repurchased under this mandate.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 27 June 2026.
