Aspial Lifestyle posts record 1H2026 revenue, lifts interim dividend by 125%

Aspial Lifestyle Limited on Aug, 7 2026 reported that revenue for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026 rose 26% year-on-year to a record 464.2 million Singapore dollars, driven by stronger performances across its pawnbroking, retail and secured lending businesses.

Profit after tax surged 89% from a year earlier to 55.0 million Singapore dollars, despite a 5.2 million Singapore dollars loss from gold hedging. The gross profit margin improved to 38.7% from 36.6% in the prior-year period.

By segment, retail revenue climbed 25.2% to 399.6 million Singapore dollars, pawnbroking revenue increased 29.3% to 55.3 million Singapore dollars and secured lending revenue expanded 76.1% to 9.2 million Singapore dollars, mainly via the BigFundr platform.

Total equity grew 40.7% to 445.1 million Singapore dollars, supported by earnings growth and an 84.8 million Singapore dollars equity fund raising completed during the half. The net debt-to-equity ratio improved to 1.7 times from 2.1 times as at Dec, 31 2025.

The board declared an interim dividend of 0.009 Singapore dollars per ordinary share, a 125% increase from a year earlier.

Operationally, the company operated 118 stores across Singapore, Malaysia and selected international markets at end-June. It also acquired the remaining stake in its Malaysian pawnbroking joint venture, giving it full ownership of operations there. Funds under management at BigFundr, its MAS-licensed secured lending platform, rose more than 25% since Dec, 31 2025.

Aspial Lifestyle said it remains optimistic about its performance for FY2026, while noting potential volatility from macroeconomic conditions and gold price movements.
