PATEO (02889) has surged over 9%, extending its monthly gains to exceed 60%. At the time of reporting, the stock was up 8.65% to HK$217.2, with a turnover of HK$141 million.

The company recently announced that Stefan Ortmanns, a seasoned expert in conversational AI, has officially joined as the Head of European Operations. He will oversee PATEO's strategic planning and business expansion in the European market, leading the local team to deepen operational localization and accelerate the company's global growth.

Stefan Ortmanns previously served as CEO and board member of Cerence, a global leader in automotive voice AI models, where he managed core product operations, including R&D, product management, and strategic partnerships.

Guosheng Securities noted that major AI models, represented by Doubao, Qianwen, and DeepSeek, are accelerating their deployment in vehicles and integrating deeply with smart cockpits, becoming a key driver for cockpit intelligence upgrades.

PATEO boasts a comprehensive product matrix covering both high-end and mid-to-low-end markets. In 2025, the company secured multiple new high-end product contracts, including platforms 8295 and 8397, with the 8397 solution expected to enter mass production in 2026.

The company holds the top market share in cockpit domain controllers for mid-to-high-end autonomous brands priced above RMB 250,000 in 2025. As the proportion of high-end products increases, the average selling price (ASP) is anticipated to continue rising.
