At a communication event held on March 2, He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Inc., stated that the automotive industry will soon undergo cross-domain integration. He explained that autonomous driving represents the vehicle's movement, the smart cockpit serves as its brain, and together with powertrain and chassis systems, these four domains are currently merging into a unified architecture.

He Xiaopeng pointed out that many manufacturers working on L4 or Robotaxi technologies will shift from single-domain integration to cross-domain fusion. This transition will enable faster, more cost-effective, safer, and more responsive systems, significantly enhancing capabilities and shifting from passive usage to active service.

He Xiaopeng emphasized, "I firmly believe that fully autonomous driving will be realized within 1 to 3 years, and within 3 to 5 years, all cars will become super-intelligent entities—highly capable ones at that."
