eXp World Holdings Inc. (AGNT) experienced a pre-market plunge of 6.67% on Monday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results. The decline came despite the company reporting revenue and earnings that exceeded analyst expectations.

The company reported Q1 revenue of $1.01 billion, a 5% year-over-year increase that surpassed the FactSet consensus estimate of $971.3 million. Its net loss narrowed to $5.1 million, or $0.03 per diluted share, beating the estimated loss of $0.05 per share. Adjusted EBITDA also showed significant improvement, rising 88% to $4.1 million.

However, investors focused on underlying concerns highlighted in the earnings report. The company noted higher legal expenses tied to legacy litigation matters, including the National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement. Additionally, the agent Net Promoter Score (aNPS), a key measure of agent satisfaction, declined to 67 from 78 in the prior-year period. While the company provided Q2 revenue guidance with a midpoint slightly above estimates, these operational headwinds appear to have driven the negative pre-market reaction.
