China Construction Machinery Industry Association: September Sales of Various Types of Graders Reached 634 Units, up 21.9% Year-on-Year

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, a total of 634 graders were sold in September 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.9%. Of these, domestic sales accounted for 99 units, a growth of 6.45%, while exports totaled 535 units, rising by 25.3%. From January to September 2025, a total of 6,284 graders were sold, marking an increase of 6.73% year-on-year, with domestic sales of 1,122 units up by 30.6%, and exports of 5,162 units increasing by 2.64%.

For truck cranes, the association reported that 1,561 units were sold in September 2025, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 21.9%. Domestic sales reached 764 units, up by 40.7%, whereas exports amounted to 797 units, showing a rise of 7.99%. For the first nine months of 2025, sales totaled 15,105 units, down 4.17% year-on-year, with domestic sales at 8,255 units, a decline of 5.47%, and exports totaling 6,850 units, decreasing by 2.55%.

Regarding crawler cranes, the association's data indicated that 285 crawler cranes were sold in September 2025, a rise of 33.2% year-on-year. Domestic sales increased to 110 units, up by 66.7%, with exports at 175 units, marking an 18.2% increase. From January to September 2025, sales reached 2,365 units, a rise of 18.2% year-on-year, with domestic sales of 754 units, up 18.4%, and exports at 1,611 units, also up by 18.1%.

For truck-mounted cranes, 2,131 units were sold in September 2025, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 22%. Domestic sales were 1,585 units, representing an increase of 29.8%, while exports totaled 546 units, up 3.8%. Between January and September 2025, a total of 19,002 units were sold, marking a 5.46% increase year-on-year, with domestic sales of 14,743 units, an increase of 3.08%, and exports at 4,259 units, up by 14.6%.

In terms of tower cranes, September 2025 saw sales of 529 units, a year-on-year decrease of 7.68%. Domestic sales declined to 249 units, down 29.7%, while exports rose to 280 units, up 27.9%. From January to September 2025, total tower crane sales reached 4,134 units, down 31.9% year-on-year, with domestic sales at 2,185 units, dropping 52.2%, while exports were at 1,949 units, growing by 29.4%.

As for industrial vehicles, data indicated sales of 130,380 forklifts in September 2025, up 23% year-on-year, with domestic sales of 81,119 units growing by 29.3% and exports at 49,261 units, up by 13.9%. Over the first nine months of 2025, a total of 1,106,406 forklifts were sold, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 14%, with domestic sales of 697,375 units rising by 13.1% and exports of 409,031 units up by 15.5%. Excluding electric walk-behind warehouse vehicles, September 2025 sales were 51,150 units, an 18.2% year-on-year increase, with domestic sales reaching 31,910 units, up 15.7%, and exports at 19,240 units, a growth of 22.7%. For the January-September period, excluding electric walk-behind warehouse vehicles, a total of 451,048 forklifts were sold, marking a 5.99% increase year-on-year, with domestic sales of 298,148 units, up 3.32%, and exports at 152,900 units, up 11.6%.

Regarding rollers, sales of various types totaled 1,392 units in September 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 32.2%. Domestic sales were 551 units, up 45.4%, while exports reached 841 units, up 24.8%. From January to September 2025, roller sales reached 13,564 units, a year-on-year growth of 21.8%, with domestic sales of 5,176 units, up 18%, and exports totaling 8,388 units, an increase of 24.3%.

For pavers, September sales reported by the association showed a total of 132 units, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 22.2%. Domestic sales were 82 units, up 32.3%, with exports totaling 50 units, rising by 8.7%. From January to September 2025, paver sales reached 1,249 units, marking a 32.2% year-on-year increase, with domestic sales at 898 units, up 42.8%, and exports totaling 351 units, a growth of 11.1%.

The report on aerial work platforms showed that in September 2025, sales were 12,416 units, a 23.8% decrease year-on-year, with domestic sales at 5,334 units, down 32.7%, and exports at 7,082 units, down 15.3%. From January to September 2025, 131,901 units of lifting platforms were sold, reflecting a 30% decline year-on-year, with domestic sales at 51,168 units, down 46%, and exports totaling 80,733 units, a decrease of 13.7%.

Finally, for aerial work vehicles, September sales reached 484 units, a year-on-year increase of 48%. Domestic sales were 456 units, up 42.9%, with exports at 28 units, a significant increase of 250%. In the January-September period, total sales of aerial work vehicles reached 3,818 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 41.4%, with domestic sales of 3,645 units, up 39.8%, and exports totaling 173 units, an increase of 88%.
