Will.i.am, a member of the American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas, has described Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun as an artist, drawing a parallel to the legendary Michael Jackson.
In a conversation, he expressed his admiration, stating "I Like Xiaomi." He highlighted the inspirational nature of the company's story, noting that Lei Jun initially sought to create his own Android phone and has now progressed to manufacturing automobiles.
Furthermore, he discussed the Huaqiangbei area in Shenzhen, China. He candidly praised China's approach to creation in Shenzhen, which involves producing tangible items through team collaboration until completion. "I really enjoy going to Shenzhen because I love creating, I love creating physical things. I also love Huaqiangbei. I'll be spending my New Year holiday there. I want to celebrate the New Year by creating physical things; that brings me joy," he added.
Public information shows that Black Eyed Peas is an American hip-hop and rap group formed in 1988, consisting of members will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and J.Rey Soul. On May 26 this year, the group won the award for Favorite Nostalgia Song at the 52nd American Music Awards.
