Fuyang District in Hangzhou has recently conducted its latest "First Day on the Job" training session for new delivery riders, alongside a Dragon Boat Festival-themed event. The activities were jointly organized by multiple local organizations, including the Fuyang District Online Food Delivery Industry Trade Union Federation, the Online Food Delivery Association, and community committees, attracting over 80 riders and their family members.

At the event, officials from the Fuyang District Market Supervision Administration and the Public Security Bureau presented gift packages containing summer heat relief supplies and festival gifts to 35 new riders who participated in the induction training. Following this, the specialized training and festival activities commenced simultaneously.

The training session focused on the essential regulations and practical skills new riders need to master, addressing common issues and specific needs. Staff from the Market Supervision Administration provided a comprehensive overview of the "Fuchun Rider Code 2.0" system, community access protocols, safety requirements throughout the delivery process, and key emergency response procedures. Police officers highlighted typical traffic violations, safe driving standards, and methods for handling traffic accidents within the food delivery sector, using real cases for educational purposes to encourage lawful and safe delivery practices. Additionally, professional instructors from the Red Cross Society delivered hands-on training in first aid and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), enhancing riders' ability to handle emergencies and assist others. The training was noted for its detailed content and practical value, with participants expressing that they gained significant benefits.

Since its initial launch in Hangzhou on March 20th, the "First Day on the Job" training program in Fuyang District has seen 152 new riders complete and pass the joint induction training provided by the market supervision, traffic police, and Red Cross authorities.

Alongside the structured training, the Dragon Boat Festival event created a warm and festive atmosphere. Community staff prepared ingredients such as glutinous rice and bamboo leaves, demonstrating traditional zongzi wrapping techniques. Riders formed groups to learn the craft, filling leaves, shaping the rice, and tying the parcels, fostering collaboration and interaction. Soon, a variety of uniquely shaped zongzi were produced. The aroma of the cooked rice dumplings filled the air as riders sampled their creations amidst laughter and conversation. Packaged zongzi were also provided for riders to take home and share with their families, extending the festive warmth from the event into their households.

On the same day, a party-building symposium for the online delivery industry was held. Officials from the Market Supervision Administration presented an update on the development and operation of the "Fuchun Rider Code 2.0" system. Representatives from the public security department, the market administration's common prosperity task force, and the delivery association engaged in discussions regarding key concerns and collaborative service initiatives they aim to advance.

Officials from the Fuyang District Market Supervision Administration stated they will continue to utilize the New Employment Groups Party-Mass Service Center as a primary hub. They plan to effectively integrate service resources from various units within the Online Delivery Industry Party Committee based on their functions, ensuring regular, on-site services. This approach aims to create a versatile platform for multiple uses and contributions, integrating party-building efforts into rider education, care services, dispute mediation, rights protection, and career development. The goal is to transform these service centers into welcoming, supportive spaces where riders feel valued and can grow, thereby injecting fresh momentum into the ongoing development of a rider-friendly urban environment.
