BYD Company Limited (stock code: 01211 for the HKD counter and 81211 for the RMB counter) released its unaudited production and sales data for October 2025. The combined production of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 429,808 units in October 2025, while sales volume stood at 441,706 units. Year-to-date NEV production totaled 3,643,377 units, reflecting a 10.50% increase from the same period in the previous year, and year-to-date NEV sales climbed to 3,701,852 units, marking a 13.88% expansion year on year.

Among NEVs, battery electric vehicles recorded a year-to-date production of 1,797,558 units, signifying 30.32% year-on-year growth. Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles saw a 5.57% decrease in year-to-date production when compared to the same period in 2024. Commercial vehicle production rose sharply by 250.88% year on year, with a total of 47,737 units produced through October 2025.

The data also indicated an export volume of 83,904 NEVs for the month of October 2025. Additionally, the installed capacity of NEV power batteries and energy storage batteries reached approximately 27.362 GWh in October, with a cumulative installed capacity of around 230.613 GWh for 2025 to date. According to the announcement, the figures have not been audited and could be subject to further confirmation.
