KUAISHOU-W released its second quarter 2025 financial results on August 21st. During the reporting period, revenue increased 13.1% year-over-year to 35 billion yuan, while adjusted net profit grew 20.1% year-over-year to 5.6 billion yuan. Both gross margin and adjusted net profit margin reached historical peaks at 55.7% and 16.0% respectively.
This quarter, KUAISHOU-W's total traffic reached new highs, with average daily active users hitting 409 million, up 3.4% year-over-year, and average monthly active users reaching 715 million, up 3.3% year-over-year. Total user engagement time increased 7.5% year-over-year.
In terms of revenue structure, online marketing services, live streaming, and other services served as core revenue sources, contributing 56.4%, 28.7%, and 14.9% to total revenue respectively. Additionally, overseas business generated 1.3 billion yuan in revenue during the second quarter, representing a 20.5% year-over-year increase.
Data shows that Keling AI generated over 250 million yuan in operating revenue in Q2 2025, with commercial monetization continuing to accelerate.
Regarding e-commerce business, KUAISHOU-W's e-commerce GMV increased 17.6% year-over-year to 358.9 billion yuan in Q2 2025. The platform's monthly average number of e-commerce buyers reached 134 million, maintaining continuous year-over-year growth.
Data indicates that shelf e-commerce GMV accounted for over 32% of total e-commerce GMV in Q2 2025. During the 618 shopping festival, shelf product card GMV increased over 50% year-over-year, while search GMV surged over 140% year-over-year. Meanwhile, short video e-commerce GMV grew over 30% year-over-year in the second quarter.
This quarter, KUAISHOU-W's online marketing services revenue reached 19.8 billion yuan, up 12.8% year-over-year, with the growth rate improving compared to the first quarter.
According to the financial report, local life business GMV grew steadily year-over-year in Q2 2025, with revenue increasing nearly 120% year-over-year.
