Chongqing Iron & Steel Company Limited released its 2025 operating data, reporting total steel production of 7.11 million tonnes and sales of 7.12 million tonnes, with an overall average selling price of RMB3,146 per tonne (excluding taxes).

Product mix and volumes • Medium plates: Output reached 2.29 million tonnes, with sales of 2.27 million tonnes at an average price of RMB3,418 per tonne. • Hot-rolled coil: The largest contributor, producing 4.78 million tonnes and selling 4.81 million tonnes, achieved an average price of RMB3,020 per tonne. • Billet: Delivered 0.04 million tonnes in both production and sales, priced at RMB2,921 per tonne.

Structure highlights • Hot-rolled products represented approximately 67 % of total production, underscoring the company’s strategic focus on this segment. • Medium plates accounted for around 32 % of output, while billets remained marginal at below 1 %.
