United Hampshire US REIT says Oct–Dec 2025 distributions not subject to U.S. withholding tax

United Hampshire US Real Estate Investment Trust announced that it was not engaged in a trade or business within the United States during the period from Oct, 01 2025 to Dec, 31 2025.

As a result, the trust said no portion of the distributions for that quarter is subject to withholding under Section 1446 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, and any U.S.-source interest can be treated by unitholders as portfolio interest.

The qualified notice, issued by its manager United Hampshire US REIT Management Pte. Ltd., is dated Sep, 26 2025. For queries, unitholders were directed to contact the manager or the unit registrar Boardroom Corporate Advisory Services Pte. Ltd.
