As lights illuminate reunions across the nation, the construction site of the Xiguang (Guangxi Xilin to Yunnan Guangnan) Expressway project remains alive with roaring machinery and bustling activity. Numerous builders stand fast at the front line, seizing the golden autumn construction season to accelerate the project, offering their hard work as a tribute to the holiday.

"Currently, at the Guangnan and Xilin ends of the entrance and exit, over 2,500 worker shifts and more than 20 large and small machines have been deployed, with the engineering volume reaching 50% of the entire tunnel. The Anna Tunnel, a controlling project undertaken by the civil engineering section seven of the Xilin to Guangnan Expressway, is progressing steadily. During the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, we are working extra shifts with over 200 worker shifts, planning to advance 10 meters per day, and expecting a total advance of 160 meters during the double festival period," introduced Xu Xin, engineering director of the civil engineering division seven of the Xiguang Expressway.

Besides the Anna Tunnel, the Longbang Grand Bridge construction site of civil engineering division six is equally energetic and orderly. Towering piers stand straight, scaffolding is neatly erected, and under the sun, welding sparks fly like stars, while the clashing of steel and the roar of machinery blend into a symphony of the construction site. On the work platforms, workers have clear divisions and默契 cooperation, methodically carrying out steel welding, beam pouring, bridge deck paving, and support adjustment. The project operates in shifts, seizing the golden autumn construction period to ensure efficient and steady progress of each process, solidly advancing the bridge's main structure construction and laying a firm foundation for the project.

"We currently have three small teams, each with 14 workers, and no holidays during the Mid-Autumn and National Day festivals. To seize the golden construction period, all frontline managers and workers stay at the front line to ensure the project completes on time. Meanwhile, we have prepared gifts like apples and mooncakes for every worker and manager, so everyone can enjoy a happy festival on the site," said Yang Taihui, on-site technical director of the Longbang Grand Bridge of civil engineering division six of the Xiguang Expressway.

During the double festival, all project departments of the Xiguang Expressway, while fully advancing construction, strictly adhering to safety production bottom lines, and solidly managing quality control, have meticulously handled logistical support. Through warm measures such as distributing holiday consolation materials, optimizing site food and accommodation, and improving rest environments, they extend holiday greetings and sincere respect to the builders on the front line, allowing them to truly feel the warmth of the project family.
