Chaoju Eye Care buys back 180,000 shares for HK$0.47 million; outstanding share count steady at 705.18 million

Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 180,000 ordinary shares on 23 July 2026 via on-market transactions at prices ranging from HK$2.58 to HK$2.63 per share. The outlay totalled HK$0.47 million, implying an average cost of roughly HK$2.62 per share.

The buy-back leaves the company’s issued share capital unchanged at 705.18 million shares, as the repurchased stock has yet to be cancelled. Inclusive of earlier tranches carried out between 2 April and 22 July 2026, a cumulative 3.39 million shares are awaiting cancellation, equivalent to about 0.48 % of the current issued share base.

Under the share-repurchase mandate approved on 12 May 2026, the company is authorised to buy back up to 70.52 million shares. To date, 3.01 million shares, or 0.43 % of the mandate limit, have been repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Chaoju Eye Care is restricted from issuing new shares for 30 days following the latest repurchase, imposing a moratorium until 22 August 2026.
