JY Grandmark released its seventh Environmental, Social and Governance Report for 2025, outlining a marked improvement in resource efficiency, strengthened governance oversight and expanded green-building practices across operations in Guangdong, Hainan, Yunnan, Jiangsu and Hunan.
• Material drop in carbon footprint: Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions fell 25.6 % year-on-year to 4,229 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent, while total energy consumption declined 24.6 % to 8,577 MWh. Electricity usage contracted to 7,221 MWh versus 9,727 MWh in 2024, aided by solar street-lighting, air-conditioning optimisation and gas-to-electricity conversions that generated RMB 7.25 million in cumulative savings.
• Resource-efficiency gains: Water use reduced 4.0 % to 584,837 m³, and non-hazardous waste output dropped 9.0 % to 451 tonnes. Hazardous waste remained negligible at 0.13 tonnes.
• Green-building expansion: Prefabricated construction was applied to six active projects, covering 36,000 sq.m. of floor area and lifting prefabrication ratios to as high as 99 % on key sites. Additional initiatives include solar-thermal hot-water systems, hydronic under-floor heating and self-levelling floor technology to cut material waste.
• Robust governance structure: The Board retained ultimate ESG oversight, supported by a cross-functional working group tasked with climate-risk identification, policy rollout and performance tracking. No breaches of environmental or safety regulations were reported.
• Workforce profile and safety: Headcount stood at 437, with females representing 51 %. The year recorded zero work-related fatalities; lost-time injuries fell to 156 days. Occupational-safety practices earned ISO 45001 certification for property-management subsidiary Guangzhou Zhuodu.
• Talent development: 1,268 training attendances were logged, averaging 1.3 hours per employee. Structured promotion paths and competitive remuneration remain in place.
• Supply-chain assurance: The approved-supplier base totals 716, 100 % of which have signed Integrity Agreements; half-year and annual performance reviews underpin quality and ESG compliance.
• Community contribution: Property subsidiary Yunnan Zhuodu organised an environmental clean-up at JY Gaoligong Town, engaging 40 residents and employees in ecological protection.
As at 31 December 2025, JY Grandmark’s land bank measured 3.50 million sq.m., underpinning its strategy as an “Eco-friendly and People-oriented Property Developer” whilst pursuing continued reductions in emissions, energy and water intensity across its mainland and Hong Kong operations.
