Our Province Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China Unicom

On January 28, our province and China United Network Communications Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary Xin Changxing and Governor Liu Xiaotao met with a delegation led by China Unicom Chairman Dong Xin.

Xin Changxing and Liu Xiaotao expressed gratitude for China Unicom's substantial support to Jiangsu's development over the years. Xin Changxing stated that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiangsu will fully implement the "AI+" initiative, accelerate the cultivation and expansion of emerging and future industries, and strive for a comprehensive upgrade of its industrial system. He expressed hope that both parties would use the signing of this new strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to deepen collaboration in areas such as new infrastructure construction, research and development of next-generation information technologies, and industrial transformation and upgrading, jointly contributing greater strength to the development of a Digital China.

Dong Xin stated that Jiangsu is a key region for China Unicom's investment and strategic layout. China Unicom will deeply integrate into Jiangsu's overall development strategy, leverage its differentiated operations and competitive advantages, strengthen the supply and service of information products, empower numerous industries with digital intelligence technologies, and better support Jiangsu's high-quality development.

Provincial leaders Chu Yonghong and Shen Jianrong, along with China Unicom Vice President Hao Liqian, respectively participated in the relevant activities.
