LAI SI ENT (02266) announced that the group expects to record an unaudited comprehensive profit attributable to shareholders of approximately MOP 1.1 million for the period ending June 30, 2025, compared to an unaudited comprehensive profit attributable to shareholders of MOP 5.3 million for the period ending June 30, 2024.

The board of directors believes the decline in profit is primarily attributable to: (1) a provision loss of MOP 2.6 million made on the group's property investments due to the continued weakness in the property market; and (2) provisions of MOP 0.3 million for financial assets and contract assets, compared to a reversal of impairment losses of MOP 2.8 million for the period ending June 30, 2024. Consequently, the group's profit for the period ending June 30, 2025 decreased by MOP 3.1 million.
