On March 27, BANKCOMM held its 2025 performance briefing. Executive Director and Vice President Zhou Wanfu stated that net interest margin management is a critical issue for the sustainable and stable development and performance improvement of commercial banks. Since last year, BANKCOMM has achieved relative stability through various efforts. According to recent operational data, lending rates still face downward pressure, while the repricing of liabilities is expected to bring some new positive effects.

Zhou Wanfu mentioned that the volume of time deposits maturing this year at BANKCOMM has increased significantly compared to last year, with a large proportion concentrated in the first quarter. He indicated that, looking ahead to the full year, the net interest margin is expected to maintain a stabilizing and improving trend. This outlook is supported by the impact of deposit repricing and the significantly strengthened institutional mechanisms for pricing. These measures are helping to standardize banking and financial competition, effectively safeguarding the lower limit for loan or asset repricing and capping the upper limit for deposit and other liability pricing.
