Tennant Company Executive Vice President and CFO Fay West Announces Retirement Plans

A global leader in cleaning solutions, Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC), has announced that its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Fay West, has informed the company of her intention to retire. Her departure will take effect once a successor is appointed and a thorough transition is completed.

The retirement is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2027, but no earlier than April 2, 2027. The company has already initiated the search for a new CFO. Dave Huml, President and CEO of Tennant Company, stated, "Fay has been a vital partner and leader for our organization, playing a key role during a critical period of transformation and growth. Her steady leadership, financial discipline, and dedication to continuous improvement have helped us strengthen our business, navigate complex challenges, and build a foundation for the future."

West joined Tennant Company in 2021. Over her five-year tenure as CFO, she was a principal architect of the company's corporate growth strategy. Her responsibilities included overseeing and guiding the global finance function, developing and implementing robust planning and capital allocation frameworks, establishing the company's M&A strategy and capabilities, and bringing new energy and focus to investor relations activities.

Huml noted that the company is actively working to identify a successor by the first quarter of 2027, ensuring a sufficient handover period before West's departure. Founded in 1870 and headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Tennant Company generated $1.2 billion in sales in 2025. The company employs approximately 4,500 people globally and has a sales network reaching more than 100 countries.
