Qinqin Foodstuffs (01583) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a notable decline in profitability. The group recorded revenue of RMB 485 million, representing a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%, while profit attributable to shareholders of the company fell sharply by 77.1% to RMB 4.937 million. Earnings per share stood at RMB 0.007 for the period.

The company attributed the decline in revenue, gross profit, gross margin, and net profit during the reporting period to two primary factors. First, the slowdown in consumer spending within the traditional physical retail sector led to reduced sales through conventional sales channels, although this was partially offset by increased sales through leisure food chain outlets and growth in the OEM contract manufacturing business. Second, the decrease in sales volumes of jelly products and rice wine products resulted in lower capacity utilization of the company's production facilities and weakened economies of scale, which in turn contributed to the reduction in gross profit, gross margin, and net profit.
