At the Lingguang App communication event held today, Cai Wei, head of the Lingguang App, addressed concerns about whether Ant Group's November launch of the app was too late. He stated that timing is relative, not absolute, as both model capabilities and user needs continue to evolve.

Drawing a parallel to the smartphone industry, Cai noted that while there were significant changes from iPhone 1 to iPhone 4, the real transformative shift occurred after iPhone 4. He emphasized that the AI industry has not yet reached its "iPhone 4 moment" for large models. "Rather than waiting for that moment, we are sprinting ahead—this is still a very early stage for us," he added.

Cai also revealed that since its launch on November 18, Lingguang App has surpassed 500,000 downloads in just two days and currently ranks 12th on the App Store's overall chart.
