The California Department of Motor Vehicles stated that Tesla Motors has implemented compliant measures regarding the marketing of its vehicles' autonomous driving features, thereby avoiding a 30-day sales suspension in the state. The agency noted in a Tuesday announcement that Tesla has undertaken corrective actions to prevent a sales halt. Last December, the company was given a 90-day period to achieve compliance after an administrative judge ruled on allegations by state regulators that Tesla had exaggerated the capabilities of its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving systems in its marketing.
