Shandong Chenming Paper Holdings Ltd. (Chenming Paper) disclosed that between 31 March and 11 June 2026 it became the defendant in 63 additional litigation cases linked to overdue debts and contract-performance disputes.
The aggregate disputed amount reaches RMB103.20 million, representing 11.42% of the group’s latest audited net assets. Ten of the 63 cases have already been adjudicated, covering RMB4.06 million; the remainder are pending. No single case exceeds 10% of the company’s net assets or RMB10 million, so none qualifies as a material case under Hong Kong listing rules.
Management is pursuing settlements through negotiation and continuing to recognise related liabilities in accordance with PRC accounting standards as case progress becomes clear.
Operationally, the group reiterates its focus on “cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, product innovation, and compliance and risk control.” All production bases are reported to be running stably, and the company plans to optimise product mix, expand market reach, and strengthen operating cash flow while addressing the litigation matters.
Chenming Paper will release further announcements if there are any significant developments. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
