The company announced that Panama Transshipment Group, the country's largest logistics operator, has signed a commercial agreement to be the first to deploy BigBear.ai's AI-powered cargo security management platform in Panama's "dry canal." The platform, developed with International Shipping Compliance, uses biometric verification and real-time analytics to create an auditable chain-of-custody record for containers, drivers, vehicles, and security seals.

The solution is designed to increase supply chain transparency and help detect anomalies tied to smuggling or terrorism-related risks, with compliance cited for BASC and C-TPAT security standards. This deployment represents a significant business win for BigBear.ai in the logistics and supply chain security sector.
