According to a report citing three unnamed sources familiar with the matter, the White House will meet with executives from the banking and cryptocurrency industries on Monday to discuss pathways for advancing stalled cryptocurrency legislation.

The summit is being hosted by the White House Crypto Council.

The report indicated that the meeting will include executives from multiple industry associations and will focus on how relevant legislation could regulate the interest and other returns that cryptocurrency companies provide to customers holding stablecoins.
