Willamette Valley Vineyards (NASDAQ: WVVI, WVVIP), headquartered in Salem Hills, Oregon, has announced the commencement of a limited preferred stock offering aimed at raising $1.75 million in total capital. As one of the few community-owned wineries in the United States, the company is inviting wine enthusiasts to become shareholders and participate in the vineyard's continued growth story.
Under the terms of the offering, from now until September 30, 2026, preferred shares are priced at $3.45 per share, with a minimum subscription of 300 shares ($1,035) and a maximum of 5,000 shares ($17,250). Investors will receive an annual dividend of $0.22 per share, representing a yield of approximately 6.3%. Alternatively, shareholders can opt to receive dividends in the form of "Shareholder Bonus Points," which provide an additional 15% value that can be redeemed for wine, dining, merchandise, accommodations, and event tickets. Starting October 1, 2026, the subscription price will increase to $3.95 per share, with the offering closing on December 31, 2026.
Shareholder benefits include discounts of up to 25% on wine purchases, monthly complimentary tastings, priority access to limited-edition releases, and exclusive tasting events. These perks are redeemable across the winery's nine locations in Oregon, Washington, and California.
The offering coincides with the groundbreaking ceremony for the estate's expansion project, scheduled for September 12, 2026, where both new and existing shareholders will be invited to participate. The expansion plans include new vineyard plantings and enhanced tasting experiences, aligning with founder and president Jim Bernau's vision of building a world-class Oregon winery.
Founded in 1983, Willamette Valley Vineyards manages nearly 1,000 acres of vineyards, all of which are LIVE-certified and Salmon-Safe, ensuring sustainable farming practices.
