Haier Smart Home Co., Ltd. (Haier Smart Home) disclosed a next-day return on 25 May 2026, confirming the repurchase of 1.64 million A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on the same date. The shares, each with a par value of RMB 1, were bought back at prices between RMB 20.26 and RMB 20.43, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of RMB 20.35 per share. The total outlay reached RMB 33.37 million.
The repurchased stock is being held as treasury shares for the company’s share incentive schemes; none of the shares have been cancelled. Consequently, Haier Smart Home’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.03% to 6.13 billion, while treasury shares rose to 119.42 million. The total issued share capital remains unchanged at 6.25 billion shares.
Management affirmed that the repurchase was executed under board authorisation and in full compliance with the Main Board Rules of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and domestic regulations governing buybacks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. All funds payable for the transaction have been settled.
The latest move marginally reduces the company’s free-float while expanding the pool of shares available for future employee incentives. No shares were earmarked for cancellation, and the company did not report any on-market sales of treasury shares during the period.
