Inkeverse Group Limited (INKEVERSE) announced that independent non-executive director Chen Yong has been designated as Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 31 March 2026. Chen will continue to serve on the audit, nomination and remuneration committees.

The role focuses on facilitating communication among the independent non-executive directors, between independent and other board members, and with shareholders—particularly minority investors. The position carries no executive or managerial duties within the Group.

INKEVERSE introduced the post with reference to the amended Corporate Governance Code under Appendix C1 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, effective 1 July 2025. The board expects the designation to enhance board effectiveness, diversity and overall corporate governance.

As of the announcement date, the board comprises executive directors Feng Yousheng (Chairman) and Hou Guangling, and independent non-executive directors David Cui, Chen Yong and Zheng Congnan.
