Residents of Balou Village received donated goods. On February 4, a special charity initiative titled "Home Appliances to the Countryside, Warm Winter Benefits for Farmers, JD.com Safeguards" was held in Balou Village, Yanlou Town, Huaxi District. The event was jointly organized by the Guiyang Market Supervision Administration, Huaxi District Media Convergence Center, Yanlou Town People's Government, and JD.com Home Appliances Pencil Pool Experience Store. Through policy briefings, material donations, on-site consultations, and service support, benefits and warm services were delivered directly to villagers. During the event, down quilts, rice cookers, electric heaters, Spring Festival couplets, and other household appliances were donated to 78 formerly impoverished and monitored households in Balou Village. Prior to the event, the village’s resident work team and village committee conducted extensive visits to assess winter electricity and fire safety needs, ensuring villagers could benefit from both the national "Appliance Replacement Subsidy Program" and JD.com’s subsidies. JD.com provided end-to-end support covering selection, delivery, installation, and after-sales service. The charity event is scheduled to run until February 14.
