According to sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is expected to return to Washington on Wednesday and Thursday for meetings with the White House, other US government officials, and bipartisan members of Congress to discuss policies related to 人工智能.

Altman's visit comes at a pivotal moment, impacting not only OpenAI but also all companies developing frontier models. Additionally, reports suggest Altman plans to meet with Virginia Democratic Senator Mark Warner, who serves as the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and co-chairs the Senate Cybersecurity Caucus.

Last week, OpenAI stated that during a series of talks with lawmakers and government officials, Altman would showcase the company's latest model. He is likely to be questioned about a recent cybersecurity incident involving the OpenAI latest model, which launched an attack without human control—marking the first documented case of its kind.
