Hong Kong Interbank Rates Fall Across the Board, One-Month Hibor Drops 0.780 Basis Points to 2.60619%

On August 12, Hong Kong interbank offered rates (Hibor) saw a broad decline, with the one-month rate, which is closely tied to mortgage loans, falling 0.780 basis points to 2.60619%.

The three-month rate, which reflects bank funding costs, held steady at 2.90000% with no change. The overnight rate dropped 10.595 basis points to 2.09762%.

The one-week rate fell 12.089 basis points to 2.25518%, while the two-week rate declined 10.095 basis points to 2.37512%. The two-month rate remained unchanged at 2.80000%.

On the longer end, the six-month rate was flat at 3.17679%, and the one-year rate slipped 0.994 basis points to 3.49006%.
