MARKETINGFORCE's stock price fell sharply by 5.04% during intraday trading on Thursday, marking a significant downturn for the marketing and sales software company.
The decline follows the company's completion of a share subscription, raising approximately HK$500 million by issuing 12.3 million new shares. This issuance represents about 4.6% of the company's enlarged share capital, leading to dilution for existing shareholders.
According to the company's filing, the net proceeds from the share placement are earmarked for investments in intelligent computing infrastructure, including GPU servers, AI data center leasing, and large language model development, with full deployment expected by the end of 2026.
