China Southern Airlines (1055) reported an overall year-on-year increase of 7.53% in passenger capacity (ASK) for October 2025. Domestic routes recorded a 4.94% rise, while regional and international routes climbed 8.54% and 15.29%, respectively. Passenger traffic (RPK) grew by 8.83% year on year, bringing the passenger load factor to 87.89%, up 1.05 percentage points from the same period last year.

Cargo operations showed a 6.75% increase in capacity (ATK - Cargo and Mail) and an 8.06% rise in cargo and mail traffic (RTK - Cargo and Mail). The cargo and mail load factor stood at 52.48%, up by 0.64 percentage points year on year.

During the month, the Group introduced four aircraft (two A320NEO, one B737-8, and one C919) and retired one A319. By the end of October 2025, the total fleet size consisted of 959 commercial aircraft.
