Shanghai-based CIFI Group (CIFI HOLD GP, 00884) published its ninth Environmental, Social and Governance Report, detailing progress across quality management, governance, climate strategy and workforce development in the company’s 25th-anniversary year.
Delivery & Quality • 56 projects (100% of those under construction) underwent comprehensive quality inspections; delivery inspections covered nearly 10,000 units, resolving 95% of the 140,000 issues identified. • Prefabricated construction represented 86.10% of projects in progress, while 50.70% of 2025 deliveries integrated renewable energy. • Image-management and AI systems now monitor 15 projects, enabling full-process traceability of key construction nodes.
Governance & Risk Control • The audit and supervision team completed 7 routine audits and 11 supervision projects; 112 issues were identified, with RMB38.02 million confirmed as recoverable. • A total of 21 risk-warning modules cover finance, operations and construction; four neural-network alerts monitor key cost items in real time. • All 1,020 suppliers signed integrity undertakings; performance evaluations reached 923 suppliers, detecting 2 medium-risk and 15 low-risk cases.
Climate & Resource Management • Office-area energy-consumption intensity fell more than 25% year-on-year; water use per square metre dropped 4.8%. • Air-conditioning upgrades at Nanchang CIFI Cmall cut seasonal electricity demand by 20.63% (261,100 kWh). • Rooftop solar at Feixi CIFI Cmall added 0.46 MW of capacity, generating an expected 328,000 kWh annually. • Six new product categories were added to the Green Product Procurement Catalog, and all new projects must specify Grade-1 energy-efficiency equipment from 2025.
Human Capital • 100% of employees, contractors and supervisors completed safety training (average 50, 69.33 and 98 hours respectively). • Core-management course “Management Foundation 100” achieved 100% completion; an AI-skills programme covered 1,697 staff. • The company recorded three work-related injuries, zero fatalities and 56 lost workdays.
Community & Social • LingYu platform manages over 72,000 affordable-housing units across more than ten cities. • Volunteer activities engaged 85 employees for 590 service hours; charitable donations totalled RMB0.16 million. • The “CIFI Charity Forest” now spans 1,034 mu in Dunhuang, with an 80% vegetation survival rate.
Management Structure • ESG governance follows a four-tier model. The Board receives regular reports from the ESG Management Committee; three-line-of-defence risk management covers frontline, functional and audit layers.
CIFI Group states it will maintain its strategy of stable operations, fortify climate-related disclosures to IFRS S2 standards and pursue its 2030 carbon-peaking and 2060 carbon-neutrality goals.
