On the afternoon of November 5, at the 2025 XPeng Technology Day event, XPeng Inc.'s Vice Chairman and Co-President Brian Gu addressed questions regarding a potential A-share listing. Gu noted that over 20% of shareholders currently invest in XPeng-W (09868.HK) through mainland channels.

He stated that in the long term, if opportunities arise in the A-share market or if listing requirements for certain companies become favorable, XPeng would actively explore such possibilities. However, he acknowledged uncertainties around specific regulatory conditions and timelines.

"We are closely monitoring the situation and proactively seeking opportunities," Gu said. "Currently, we are dedicating significant effort to engaging with A-share investors and major domestic RMB funds. Notably, we’ve observed an increasing presence of A-share-focused institutional investors among our recent backers—a trend I find very encouraging."
