JD.com has officially undertaken the distribution of Shaanxi's 2025 home appliance consumption subsidies under the guidance of Xi'an Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The program combines government subsidies with JD.com's own subsidies to provide substantial shopping benefits for consumers, helping to boost the home appliance consumption market.
The initiative officially launched on September 18 and will run through December 31, with subsidies distributed in batches throughout the period. During the campaign, consumers can access the JD.com app, log into their accounts, select products marked with "Government Subsidy" labels, and participate in the trade-in program. Upon checkout, customers can enjoy up to 20% government subsidies plus an additional 5% JD.com trade-in subsidy.
Individual consumers can make unlimited purchases during the campaign, with cumulative discounts capped at 2,000 yuan per person.
Beyond direct price subsidies, JD.com leverages its comprehensive trade-in service infrastructure to deliver a convenient and worry-free home appliance upgrade experience. The company launched its trade-in service in 2016, and the program now covers over 200 subcategories including home appliances, furniture, building materials, consumer electronics, digital products, automobiles, electric bicycles, health equipment, and fitness gear. The service is available to consumers in over 95% of cities and townships nationwide.
For home appliances specifically, JD.com offers a "three free services and four no-limit policies" program, including free door-to-door pickup, free dismantling, free transportation, and no restrictions on the original purchase channel, brand, age, or condition of old appliances, ensuring a seamless replacement experience for consumers.
The launch of Xi'an's home appliance consumption subsidy program represents a deep integration of policy and market forces, delivering tangible benefits to consumers while injecting strong momentum into the high-quality and sustainable development of the home appliance market.
