IMPRO PRECISION (01286) announced its unaudited financial results and business update for the first quarter of 2026. The group achieved total revenue of HK$1.4276 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.5%.
Commenting on the group's quarterly sales performance and business outlook for the period ending March 31, 2026, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lu Ruibo stated: "Building on the sales growth momentum from the second half of 2025, IMPRO PRECISION continued to accelerate its sales growth in the first quarter of 2026. Sales in the diversified industrial, aerospace, energy, and medical end-market segments demonstrated strong resilience. End markets related to artificial intelligence data centers, including high-horsepower engines, other diversified industrial applications, and energy, were particularly robust in Q1. Sales in the recreational marine and vehicle, aerospace, and construction machinery end markets also increased significantly compared to the same period last year. The automotive segment sales remained in negative growth territory for the quarter, although the commercial vehicle market has begun to show signs of recovery."
"However, unpredictable geopolitical conflicts and the appreciation of the Renminbi, along with upfront hiring and training costs associated with capacity ramp-up, have presented significant operational challenges for the company. Meanwhile, demand from certain end-market customers shows a trend of strengthening in the second half of this year and into 2027. The company is currently assessing the certainty of this additional demand. Considering the above factors and the current order backlog, the group has raised its full-year 2026 sales forecast to a year-on-year growth rate of 15% to 20%."
