Kunlun Energy Executes HK$9.92 Million Buyback on 23 June; 2026 Mandate Usage Rises to 9.75 Million Shares

Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed that it repurchased 1.49 million ordinary shares on 23 June 2026 via on-market transactions, paying a total of HK$9.92 million at prices ranging from HK$6.57 to HK$6.77 per share. The implied average cost was approximately HK$6.67 per share. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation.

The transaction leaves Kunlun Energy’s issued share capital unchanged at 8.66 billion shares as at 23 June 2026. No treasury shares were held.

Since shareholders granted a new buyback mandate on 28 May 2026, the company has repurchased 9.75 million shares, equivalent to 0.11% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. The mandate permits the repurchase of up to 865.88 million shares, leaving about 856.13 million shares (99.89% of the authorised limit) available for further buybacks.

Including purchases made under the previous mandate, a total of 24.55 million shares have been bought for cancellation but not yet cancelled between 25 March and 23 June 2026.

Pursuant to Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Kunlun Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling any treasury shares until 23 July 2026. The company confirmed that all repurchases complied with the Main Board Listing Rules and that no material changes have been made to the explanatory statement dated 30 April 2026.
