APT Satellite (01045) saw its shares rise more than 8% during trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.07%, trading at HK$4.02, with a turnover of HK$28.16 million. That year, China will carry out a packed schedule of space missions: Tianwen-2 will approach its target asteroid for close observation; the manned space program will launch missions including Shenzhou-23; multiple reusable rocket models will undergo flight tests; and the commercial space sector will pursue high-quality development with a strong emphasis on safety. Public information shows that APT Satellite is a controlled subsidiary of China Satellite Communications Co., Ltd. The APT Satellite Group currently operates the APSTAR-5C, APSTAR-6C, APSTAR-7, and APSTAR-9 satellites, and through a joint venture, also operates the APSTAR-6D and APSTAR-6E satellites. The APT Satellite system covers regions accounting for approximately 75% of the global population, including Asia, Europe, Africa, and Oceania, providing high-quality satellite transponder, satellite communication, and satellite TV broadcast transmission services to broadcasting and telecommunications clients.
