At the second World Humanoid Robot Games, Tiangong robots delivered impressive results in track and field events, breaking records multiple times. After the competition, the Omni R&D team shared insights with the media, explaining that as humanoid robots' athletic capabilities increasingly approach human levels, they become better equipped to perform tasks similar to those done by people, making real-world deployment far more seamless.

The team noted that the next phase of development will focus more on robot interactions with complex environments and specific objects. "This aspect has not been extensively explored in humanoid robotics yet," they said, adding that when external conditions grow complicated or introduce disturbances, the robots must be capable of handling these situations autonomously.

Currently, the researchers describe humanoid robots as resembling a "three-year-old child." They view this stage as a critical technical breakthrough, believing that if these challenges can be overcome, humanoid robots will find practical applications across numerous scenarios.

Regarding the significance of the robot games, the R&D staff emphasized that this competitive platform pushes the entire industry to deliver superior hardware and algorithms. "It's a valuable opportunity for rapid brainstorming and self-improvement within a short timeframe," they concluded.
