According to recent data, as of July 29, there are 5,817 listed companies in the A-share market. Corporate secretaries serve as crucial "bridges" connecting investors with listed companies, playing essential roles in corporate capital operations. Based on 2024 annual reports, A-share corporate secretaries received a combined total of 4.086 billion yuan in compensation last year, with an average salary of 754,300 yuan.
Following the completion of annual report disclosures, compensation details for corporate secretaries in the non-ferrous metals sector have been revealed. Statistical data shows that among non-ferrous metals listed companies, Zijin Mining Group Company Limited paid the highest annual compensation to its corporate secretary, with Zheng Youcheng receiving 4.5138 million yuan. In contrast, Shandong Hontron Aluminum Industry Holding Company Limited paid the lowest compensation in the sector, with secretary Xiao Xiao receiving only 125,400 yuan annually. This means Zheng Youcheng's salary is 12.31 times higher than Xiao Xiao's compensation.
More than 20 listed companies in the sector provided annual salaries exceeding one million yuan to their corporate secretaries. Notably, the secretaries at Xiamen Tungsten, Aluminum Corporation of China, Zhenghai Magnetic Materials, China Molybdenum, Jiaozuo Wanfang, and Zijin Mining Group Company Limited all earned over 2 million yuan, with annual salaries of 2.2768 million yuan, 2.372 million yuan, 2.55 million yuan, 2.9694 million yuan, 4.1129 million yuan, and 4.5138 million yuan respectively.
Regarding salary changes, most listed companies increased their corporate secretaries' compensation. Several companies more than doubled their secretaries' salaries, including Yingsite, Aluminum Corporation of China, and Xinweiling. Specifically, Yingsite's secretary Fan Lizhong saw his salary increase from 473,100 yuan to 1.0046 million yuan, representing a 112.34% year-over-year growth. Aluminum Corporation of China's secretary Ge Xiaolei experienced a salary jump from 1.0283 million yuan to 2.372 million yuan, marking a 130.67% increase. Xinweiling's secretary Liu Mengmei received a salary boost from 316,300 yuan to 744,600 yuan, achieving a 135.41% year-over-year increase.
