Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (新鴻基地產發展有限公司), originally incorporated on 14 July 1972 and previously known as Sun Hung Kai (Holdings) Limited, held its Annual General Meeting on 6 November 2025. At this meeting, a special resolution was passed to approve amendments to the existing articles of association and adopt an updated version, with immediate effect.

According to the official documents, a summary of the major areas of amendment was set out in the Company’s circular dated 9 October 2025. The special resolution also authorized any Director or the Company Secretary to handle all necessary formalities in connection with implementing the newly adopted articles.

The records show that the Company’s name was changed from Sun Hung Kai (Holdings) Limited to Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited on 16 March 1973. Notably, upon incorporation, the initial paid-up share capital stood at HK$15, distributed among three original subscribers. The new articles of association will now govern the Company’s operations and responsibilities going forward.
